# Access to the T212 app while traveling

I’m going travelling overseas shortly and was wondering if there were any restrictions on accessing the T212 app overseas and/or via a VPN?

Hey, @gt94sss2 👋

There are no restrictions when it comes to VPN usage. If you’re travelling to a country where our app or services as a whole are not available, you can still access your account from a web browser by visiting **[this page](https://app.trading212.com)**.

There are restrictions when using VPN. I get blocked a lot:

If you are able to change servers you can get around it, but you sometimes need to hop a lot

Yes, the access denied error can pop up if the VPN is set to a location where our app or services as a whole aren’t available. What I meant in my message above is that we don’t generally prohibit the use of VPNs.

If you continuously receive the ‘Access Denied’ message but your VPN is set to a location where our services are available, feel free to drop me a message here so I can check things further for you 🙏
