Corperate Actions

Hi, transferred over from Halifax a few months ago. Can any help me with mechanisms around corperate actions. Halifax would personally email, and have a section the read and select which option you wanted to move on. How do 212 deal with corperate actions, see the daily email listing them. Can any just walk me though how it works. Thanks for any help

Welcome, @Sabiar :folded_hands:

We notify eligible shareholders about corporate actions by email and/or in-app notification, once the details are confirmed and the event applies to their specific holdings. You can see below how we communicate different types of corporate events to our clients:

  • Mergers, spin-offs, acquisitions or stock dividends: If you’re eligible, you will receive the shares you’re entitled to. We will send you an in-app notification with all details. Here, you can find more about those events.
  • Warrants, CVRs and Corpacts: Eligible shareholders will receive in-app notifications about the number of issued shares/units. You can find out more about those events here.
  • Stock splits & reverse stock splits: We’ll notify you via an in-app notification once a stock split is performed. You can also keep an eye on the topics in the ‘Corporate events category’ where we share updates about the events we execute daily.
  • Rights Issues/Open offers: We will email you the offer details and the funds needed to participate. You can learn more here.

Thanks thats, very much appreciated
