So I just signed up to Getquin’s free trial to give it a go.
I can’t see anywhere I can add tax rules to the foreign held stocks. I need to add 15% with holding tax to my US and Canadian stocks, but I can’t see where I do it?
Any one else use it and know where it is located?
Ok, so their customer service replied.
They only have a blanket tax policy for an entire portfolio, not for individual stocks, so if you have different country stocks, it is essentially useless as the figures will be wrong.
It can’t be difficult to add a simple tax rule for a stock, so for now I am still using Stock Events, I just wish they would start using APIs so I could link my account and not have to manually adjust my holdings.
You can use something like Stockismo to convert your CSV for you into something you can use in Stock Events, they have a 212 > SE converter I think.
Just send the file through once a month and it’ll be roughly up to date.
