GILTS inclusion in investible listbfor ISA & SIPPs

Can I request Gilts to be included for investment? I prefer to use T212 for my ISAs and SIPP when my waitlisted application is accepted.

Until then I am having to move ISA cash balances to freetrade to invest in gilts, which is a shame as T212 platform is better than freetrade.

The only reason to make me open a SIPP with T212 would be the possibility to buy GILTs and index linked GILTs in SIPP

UK Gilts would be a great addition and be useful for GIA, ISA, and SIPP accounts.

Inflation linked gilts would be good for SIPP for those looking for a retirement income. However conventional gilts would be fine too, since it enables people to plan with a known maturity date.

High coupon gilts would be great boost to ISA’s for those wanting to build a steady income, and with careful choosing of the maturity date means if the prices fall a lot (e.g. because interest rates have gone up), you just hold to maturity.

Low coupon gilts would be great addition to the GIA offering for those who maybe have maxed out their ISA’s, since profit from getting more back at maturity is free from Capital Gains Tax (unlike coupons, which outside a tax wrapper are subject to income tax) For instance T28 has a 1/8th coupon and currently a £100 bond costs £93.49, so you get 7% back in under two years and no tax to pay (just income tax on the 25p interest)
