# If I died, where I can mention my beneficiaries

there is no specific location to mention such details. the current process is mentioned on the help page: [What are the procedures in event of a client’s death? – Trading 212](https://helpcentre.trading212.com/hc/en-us/articles/360014075217-What-are-the-procedures-in-event-of-a-client-s-death-)

the people handling your estate in line with your will, would need to come with a death certificate (and possibly other documents) to request access

the help page mentions just the “free funds”:

> We will request that the administrator/successor of the deceased’s estate contacts us with a copy of the death certificate. We will review it, and once it is approved, the positions in the deceased...

what about all the money in the positions they close? why just the free funds?

I like how that post’s titled “what will happen with my account _if_ I die?” It’s a good job I’m not planning to! 😆
