Is there somewhere a tool where I can see all dividend news regarding my watchlist/portfolio? I have a lot of positions and I canā€™t keep check all of them individually if they still pay dividend/increased it/decreased it. Maybe that would also be a nice feature at trading 212 to add (and as you mentioned, the next payment date and a dividend calendar) ---

I really should just build this. Itā€™s not that hard. You could upload your transactions that you download from the T212 site in CSV and I could map them against passed and future paymentsā€¦ Dā€™ohā€¦ Itā€™s not even that complicatedā€¦ Iā€™m just a little lazy ---

I mean, why not, yes. Upload your portfolio. Itā€™ll extract transactions, work out current and historic positions, verify historic dividends have been paid, show disclosed upcoming, calculate historic yields and therefore (approximately) be able to calculate forecast yields (with a degree of estimation)ā€¦ it really isnt that hardā€¦ Iā€™d need about 2 days to build a basic version I reckon But my history with this sort of this sort of thing is : 5 people are super keen and use it, 2 or 3 intermittently and 1000 say yes build it and then never use it. ---

The AI feature in T212 can do most of what people have been asking for. It cannot access the number of shares that you have or the cost, but you can tell the AI as part of your question. For example, try asking something like ā€œIf my average buy price is 257.6p, tell me my dividend yield at cost for Legal and Generalā€ Or ā€œnext 10 dividend payments ordered by date payableā€ ---

Iā€™ve been playing with the AI. It still cannot access the number of shares that you have, but it does let you estimate the number of shares as it can access the value of your holding and knows the current price. You can ask the AI to divide the value by the price to estimate your shareholding, which seems to work reasonably well. Iā€™ve combined all of this into an AI query to get the value of your next 10 dividends: _What are the next 10 dividends payable ordered by payable date? Do not graph or tabulate the data. Convert the dividend per share to GBP by using the exchange rate 1.00 GBP = 1.3363 USD = 1.1934 EUR = 1.8752 CAD = 12.5025 NOK. Then estimate the number of shares owned by using the position value at todays price divided by the current price. Then multiply the estimated number of shares owned by the dividend to estimate the dividend that will be paid. Round the result to the nearest 0.01 GBP. There is no need to show calculations_. Occasionally, when the server load gets high, the result can get a bit glitchy (just re-run in that case). Also, AI doesnā€™t know how many shares that you had at the ex-dividend date so if you are doing a lot of trading the dividend estimate can be off. I get my exchange rates from the [Bank of England](https://www.bankofengland.co.uk/boeapps/database/Rates.asp?Travel=NIxAZx&into=GBP) spot rate. You will need to update that periodically.
