# No notification sound

I don’t know if I have missed something, but I can’t find any option to make the notifications actually useful. The notifications are a silent popup, which is ok if you are glued to the screen (n.b. useful is bare minimum). Why is there no sound to notification, or any ability to set a notification if criteria is met (e.g. price crosses ema etc…)

I am using thew website in Edge. I am not using the mobile app.

**note:** Edge not muted or tab set to mute, notification permissions set for trading212 site, sound plays for other sites via edge. no sound even when website is focused.

Push notifications with sound are currently available only on the mobile app. We’ll keep you posted if they’re added to the web app.

Is there a timeline for this functionality, or is it on the future plans list?

Is there any work arounds (other than use mobile app)

There’s no ETA or confirmed plan yet for adding sound notifications to the web app. Such notifications are currently only supported on the mobile app.

It would be really useful if a notification sound could be added when making card payments in the app when in shops. I would like to be able to choose from my own sound files for this.
