It would be great to get notification alerts for when our return percentage for individual stocks reaches a certain percentage that we set. This would be great for short term investments. For example, if I’m currently at 8% positive return on a stock, I might want to be notified when I reach a return of 15% to sell out. Yes, we can work it out and set a price alert for the price that would give us a 15% return. But it would just be easier if we didn’t have to work this out. If we were to buy/sell more shares we would have to change our price alert every time. A notification based on return instead of the price for each stock in this case would be a game changer.
