One ETF to rule them all 💍

TLDR 0.07% OCF, fairly quiet launch, 10,000 stocks.

Id expect people to shift out of vwrl to this. The small caps will likely drag down compared to HMPO etc but the fees are competitive.

I dunno small caps typically return more over time but history is a teacher things don’t always repeat themselves…

This almost seems too-good-to-be-true cheap, especially as it includes small caps.

I would be tempted to switch once it’s been up and running a while as much for the one-and-done solution as for the competitive ongoing cost.

Vanguard also launched cheap ETFs for global small caps and all-world excluding US – two areas where there’s not a huge amount of choice.

The US version is 0.06%.

The ‘cheapness’ as we put it is likely due to most the holdings are in developed markets which helps drive down the costs due to volume (custody fees).

The 0.07% is true for that level of diversification. There is a reasonable argument for small cap drag, but on a longer time frame, it may even out. It is advised to watch this one before switching from VWRL.

The 0.07% fee is real, but on post #4’s worry about small caps — that sleeve is usually where tracking error shows up first, so I’d compare against VWRL’s mix before switching the whole book.
