Hello. Using Foley Trasimene Acquisition as an example can someone please explain the difference between BFT and BFT.UT shares. I see that when going on to the company website that it is the BFT.UT price that is quoted as the ‘headline’. Thank you
For SPACs, they first issue as units which are comprised of one share of common stock and a fraction of a warrant e.g. 1/2 or 1/3 usually. The unit is denoted with the ticker BFT.U
Some time after the units start trading, the common shares are available alone, these are denoted BFT.
You can only buy common shares on 212. Should be a lot more info available via google if needed.
