If you place a limit buy order for one unit at a price of 51, that should cost, well, 51. Shouldn’t it?
And yet here it is saying it will result in £38 worth being purchased. I’m trying to understand this so I can calculate how many units to buy in order to equal a certain £ investment. The limit price I picked here is below current market price and the market was actively trading, just to clear up any doubt.
