Please let us make folders, my investment screen is getting to crowded, also add custom sorting options and remove that really big “create pie” button for something else. Would also be nice to see watchlists that can become folders/removing caps on amount of instruments/watchlists

Have you considered using pies as folder by placing similar shares into one pie ? You don’t have to invest across them, can still buy and sell individually by moving into and out of the pirl

@aTrading212User I’ve noticed that other clients have raised this as well, and it hasn’t gone unnoticed. The feedback has been passed on to the team, and I’ll keep you posted on any updates.

This sounds like a tedious workaround

I don’t really get your reply.

What is a pie but a collection of shares. It offers more than a folder. Why would anyone want a “dumb” folder ?

Each to their own, I had a couple of pies with just one share in, I bet you don’t get the advantages of that either

It completely depends on your strategy. If your goal is automated, periodic investing, pies are perfect.

But for an active, manual trading strategy, pies introduce unnecessary friction. If you just want to buy a specific stock manually and organize it into a visual folder for a clean overview, a pie forces you into a rigid framework of percentages and multi-step adjustments.

A ‘dumb’ folder isn’t inferior; it simply provides visual organization without the mechanical overhead.
For active traders, less friction equals better execution, which is exactly why groups or folders on other platforms are an great add on.

What I would be looking for are tags. Create tags for exchange, sector, country, purpose or whatever else floats your boat and then dynamically list your securities. Ideally with the math done in the background for each tag.

That’s indeed interesting! But i think it would also be great if you could map the tags similarly to the groups in Scalable Capital. That way, you can see your earnings per strategy for example by sector, trading style (day trading, swing trading, buy and hold) or however you’d like to filter it. So you can see your p\l per Tag.
