Recent negative change to Pies (IMO)

In the past, I could remove a ticker from my Pie’s active investments, but those shares would still remain within the pie. This meant that any investments, past or present, made within the pie, remain there until I chose to split them out.

As of recent, we’re now being forced to choose whether we want to sell the shares & rebalance, or remove from the pie completely. I don’t understand why they’re now enforcing this when it was perfectly fine as an optional action.

Same issue here. We use Pies as investment pillars, with the percentages primarily controlling the flow of new money through AutoInvest.

For us, 0% is therefore very useful as a temporary pause: keep an existing holding inside the Pie, but stop allocating new AutoInvest contributions to it.

Being forced to remove the holding and add it back later creates unnecessary work and disrupts the Pie structure. Selling it is obviously even less desirable.

Please restore 0% slices, or add an explicit “pause new contributions” option per slice.
