Yes, and as far as I can see this isnt available yet? Essentially I want to be able to see how much of the gain is due to movements in the assets price, and movements in currency valuations.

Some brokers do indeed do this. Not AJ Bell, Interactive Investor or Hargreaves Lansdown. But Degiro does. Here is a statement for 20 shares Facebook.
