Auto invest needs to return back to how it was previously so that free funds can be used. None of my banks are supported by recurring payments, so I essentially can’t use auto invest now

I don’t want an External Payment Method to be charged if there’s insufficient Available Balance (Free Funds) to action the instructions.
Bring back AutoInvest from Free Funds!
I still see the Free Funds option for auto-invest. So how does it work now? Does it use an external payment method if no free funds are available?
If you set up a new auto invest the free funds option is removed. If you have already set up an auto invest with free funds method then it’s fine
I like to DCA my securities by auto-investing daily. T212 does not provide the option to invest on weekdays only so I have been depositing what I need to on Mondays expecting it to fail at the weekend.
Now this feature has been removed because (???). I must deposit funds on Saturdays & Sundays whether I like it or not. And as others have commented, 4 out of the 6 payment options skim off 0.7% of the deposit whilst the other two fail.
@T212 why are you removing useful features and adding so much friction to the user experience? Why not add new ones instead?
