We should probably buy some shares, because there is actually real change that the price will be 1000 usd šŸ˜ I know, I know ā€¦ šŸ˜‰ ---

About the delisting drama. Bottom line is that any company that refuses GAAP accounting may be de-listed. BABA uses GAAP accounting audited by PWCā€™s HK branch. Management addressed this a few quarters back in the Conference call. Big China tech will be given a few years to comply with the new regulations and will likely follow BABAā€™s lead and switch to GAAP if they arenā€™t already doing it. ---

I personally like the idea of buying into kia. The companyā€™s idea of having the best warranty on there cars that I have seen (7 years or 100k mile) is one reason I would buy stock. They are also breaking into the ev market with the Kia Soul unfortunately there not on t212 yet. ---

What do you guys think is gonna happen? They passed the bill and Chinese stocks are dying a slow death. Iā€™ve got a good 3.5k invested in there man. Do I take the hit? Iā€™m down 30 Percent on em. Advise please šŸ™ ---

Yes I am way over my usual rules for a single holding % of portfolio, but its just so frigging cheap and I dont see any better value plays right now IMO. ---

Well I donā€™t buy crap stonks. Only ever bought Nio for toddler portfolio, beginning of December at 2$. But that was just like 10 shares. For gamble part. JD is a great company but bit overvalued now. ---

I donā€™t gloat, just fact is there are good Chinese companies, then there are stonks. Good are TCEHY, BABA, JD on top of my head. Rest wouldnā€™t touch with broom stick. Was just pointing to fact, you claim Chinese stocks and slow death. More accurate, hype stonks are not growing at 10% a day anymore. ---

There are another couple of other (at least to me) interesting stocks in the Chinese market, and considering that China is ahead of the rest of the world in this pandemic + Biden government that is going to have a more friendly approach to China these stocks are not bad bets I guess. Anyway the other two companies I am following apart from the ones you mentioned are EDU and YUMC. ---

Well there is not much to do when you buy ship that leaks the water. You can try to mend it aka DCA or try find a ā€œgreater foolā€ who will buy it. ---
