Am I right in saying from next month I can have more than one stocks ISA?
The article above seemed to suggest so, anyone got any clarity on this?
Thanks

In the new financial year yes, so from 8 April 2024.
Okay thanks mate, that’s good news for some
you could have more than one stock and shares ISA before (I believe) but you couldn’t pay into more than one in any single tax year. So you could split your 20k allowance between 1x cash ISA, 1x share ISA, etc. but you couldn’t put part of the 20k into one share ISA and another part into another one. From 5 April I believe that this restriction is removed so you still have a maximum limit but you can pay into more than one of each type of ISA (I haven’t looked at the rules in detail that’s just my general understanding)
To make sure I’d check the isa section on the gov.uk website in the new tax year. The current rules are all set out on there.
