extraordinarily! some almost doubling. But now with new leverage changes less money is borrowed so they should be changed accordingly right?
I totally agree with you, If they are effectively lending us less money then the swaps should drop appropriately. We need to monitor what they do closely.
I think your original question was partially moved into this topic when it got split. You might get more responses if you continue back in the original topic. This is now a software development session!
will repost again there, thanks
I think we’re good now @Supraman and @Richard.W
I can add in a note at the bottom thank yourselves on the page if you wish.
Now that its functional, I can do a bit of tidying up on font sizes, colours, location of disclaimer, etc.
How extensive was your testing? How confident are you that we’re good to go?
Thank you so much for your help. It’s a good sign that you’re getting the same answers as us with your sorcery!
Yeah serious maths going on there. Beyond me!
Ill make the code available later on GitHub as well should anybody want to download it.
You’ve done the community a great service!
Will you update the topic that’s specifically about the calculator?
My god, you did half the work sure! So thank you.
Yes, Ill do that right away.
To think my simple question on the other chat has led to this is remarkable, Not all heros were capes and you guys have done people a great service!
Shocking that T212 did not produce something of this ilk leading to mass panic !
Thank you for your great work
On our day off and all
Thanks for the spark to set it all off.
It’s nice to be appreciated. Thanks so much for the kind words. You’ve made my day and all the effort worthwhile!
I went out for a walk to clear my head, but I couldn’t help but come up with a couple of enhancements!
@obrienciaran, how about adding “Cash Required to Maintain Margin Percentage” and “Margin Percentage if No Action Taken” values underneath the “Current Margin” label?
Don’t worry if you don’t have time; it’s just a suggestion.
You read my mind. Literally as you posted that I was thinking of it.
I think that might be one for the morning (or perhaps tonight!), for now it’s a socially distanced beer and walk time!
Great minds think alike/fools seldom differ!
Enjoy your beer. You’ve earned it!
Nominating both of you for the nobel prize. Will PM you both when you win to collect your medals.
edit - & Richard. ^_^.
Thanks! It’s a great honour! Don’t forget a medal for @Richard.W!
I genuinely thought “this will take two minutes” when I woke up. Had my breakfast at half 2 then…
Worth it!
Hi,
Just like to say thank you very much for taking the time to do this. Can I ask if the original link to the calculation includes all updates please…just want to make sure I am using the right one when doing my calcs. Thanks, Martin
Thanks for the kind words. You’re welcome!
Yes, I just checked and the original link is now pointing to the revised calculator. We’d appreciate any feedback you can give us. If you have an understanding of CFD margins, please let us know if you agree with our calculation.
Ok that’s great! As someone said- heroes without capes. You will have helped a lot of people with this. Cheers again.
