As you say, a good place to look is on justetf.com. If you let that website know your location then it will only show you the ETFs that are UCITS compliant. You can then search by strategy, market, etc. I also use www.ishares.com/uk. They have 416 equity ETFs, and cover almost anything you can think of. The name of an equivalent ETF is often close to the same name as the non-compliant US one. To check to see how equivalent two ETFs are, I sometimes just look at the list of top 10 holdings.
