API - Show CURRENT Ticker not a random old/dark ages company no one remembers!

I see this referred to often in other threads, maybe we can consolidate the suggestion here?

API requests for portfolio data return OLD tickers, e.g.:

GWAC should be CIFR
KCAC should be QS
AAXN should be AZON
XPDI should be CORZ
etc etc

These were already the ‘new’ ticker when I bought them, so in my ‘lifetime’ they were never the previous ticker.

The API should use the current ticker.

Sounds good. And maybe we could have the exchange added to the position as well? Would save me digging through the instruments and from there through the exchange endpoint.
