At what point do you sell

I know everyone plans differently and has their own rules or follow different schools of thought but what approach do you take?

I have entered some positions for long term gains, but having already had 30/40pc increases, I question should I just sell.

Let me know how you manage your portfolio and it will be useful to compare with others.

My advice would be never to compare your portfolio with anyone else’s as it is not going to help you achieve your goals. You should have a plan on what you want to achieve and if you say you are in it for the long term then the only reason to sell would be if that particular stock no longer fits into your strategy.
