[CFD] Upcoming Increase in Margin Requirements - postponed for 01.12.2020

Only -20 GBP, that should cover my margin risk though especially yours that could cover mine and 10 others

Me2 . Happily I would pay £10,20 a month . They just taking the worst decision possible. Just watch how they lose half of their clients and never coming back

Given the dramatic market risks, It is tough to price and model volatility outcomes; thus, why I cannot be more precise than the above.

It’s an answer to the question: it’s temporarily.

Hi tony,
could you kindly tell me if the 1:2 leverage based on the initial price I paid for a certain CFD please?
I cant find the answer for this anywhere.

Many Thanks
Regards,

How come no other brokers are following in suit, also how long do you plan on this happening providing market continues to act similarly in coming weeks.

Seriously??? Cheapside is in the City of London ie one of the most expensive locations in the world - the name is not reflective of the cost of offices but a historic description.

David, or anyone, I’m having a hard time fully understanding what is going on at the moment. I’m not a native English speaker and I’m worried as hell… Can you please tell me if I need to add money to my account in order to keep my stocks open? I really don’t want to let these go…

You need 1034.85 more to keep stocks open if they dont go up before 3 pm GMT. I’d say add 1200 or so to just keep it above or sell some positions

I know it was a joke…I was playing on the name.

Could just be a paid for business address

Thanks Ben… but that’s really horrible news, I don’t have that much to spend on this… Probably best to just sell all stocks and find another broker I guess?

Here. I made an EXTREMELY crude web app to help everyone. Enter your current blocked funds. And it will display how much you need to have tomorrow to be in the same position as you are now.

You Sir, are a saint

I think (if all faith is not lost in 212) then picking a favourite might be best way to go

Just a correction:
[Your positions will be closed following the order of their opening* (ā€œfirst in, first outā€ principle) until the account status is over 25% again.

**If the market of the instrument for this position is closed, the platform will close the first position with an opened market.*](When can you close my CFD positions? – Trading 212)

Thank you so much! But just to be sure, the number that comes up, is that what my total account value has to be? Or the money that I must have available to spend? (The value in the circle or the value bottom left?)
