Not being paid out after acquisition

Filed my complaint and haven’t had a response yet. Final written response should be due at the start of December, but that’s still kind of a mad timeframe considering the date of consummation.

Just received this after raising a complaint ? I mean really ?

Hello Peter,

Nano Dimension Ltd acquired Desktop Metal Inc in a cash transaction. As per the terms of the deal, positions will be closed. However, we haven’t received the closing price nor the execution date, hence the event is still pending.

While I understand the situation may be frustrating, we cannot provide a specific timeframe for the event execution as the matter ultimately depends on third parties.

I appreciate your patience.

Best regards,

Wow, that’s disgusting.

A quick Google search easily leads to the regulatory filing.

I’m assuming then that given you’ve had a final written response you’ll be escalating to the ombudsman? Really, if multiple customers have been brick-walled in this way then it raises quite serious questions about precisely why T212 are seemingly unwilling to even explain the actions they are proactively taking to resolve this. I’d imagine that’s a lot of cash sat in a MMF or bank somewhere that should be earning interest for shareholders or re-deployed. The T&Cs say that customer assets are ring fenced, so I would therefore only assume that you’d also be entitled to the interest on the proceeds to-date also. To that end, I’d been told by T212 that even if I transferred my ISA elsewhere I would not be allowed to transfer those shares - so I couldn’t even DRS and do the ITA paperwork myself.

Haven’t had my final written response yet, but it’s shaken my faith in 212 quite deeply so I’ve since opened accounts elsewhere and have been contributing to those instead. Very disappointed, and it seems DM is only one instance of this happening.
