How does private health care use the NHS,last I recall the NHS was using private health care to expand capacity 
. Why would they want to use something so inefficient and poorly run. Blank cheques, no accountability, big leakage.

Really? Private health plans or health insurance are used only to top up your state funded NHS. Try claiming every week for a different issue and see how many times you end up in a private hospital
Maybe i just go to a private hospitalā¦rather then have a planā¦much like the dentist I donāt have denplan because itās rubbish I go direct and pay for what I want. Great experiences with NHS, notā¦graduate butchers.

Iām not some elitist or filthy rich either I can just see it for the major failure it is.

Iām not saying the NHS is perfect they border line killed my mother when I was 8 years old and then screwed up the birth of my third daughter and caused a lot of grief for us as a family however they still save a lot of lives and without the vast additional budgets of private healthcare.
For you and me we have the choice but what about those that donāt? Leave them in the gutter then is that your plan? You yourself could be crippled by life and find yourself on the other side like I have in the past

Personally I think it needs reform. Rather than Shelly having her 10th kid maybe if they had quotas or billed for certain services then they could save lives or improve their conduct in other areas. Unfortunately people donāt see it this way. Shelly is actually killing cancer patients who canāt get a bed because she is too busy getting pregnant all the time (yes I know this is a general stereotype but itās true)
Yet the average number of children per couple has drastically fallen in the last two generations
What demographic are you referring too and your argument doesnāt counter health tourists or people who donāt pay tax use it i.e. tax dodgers and gypsies.
Probably got more to do with all the self inflicted admissions than anything else, like drugs, alcohol and obesity. But Iām not here to shame anyone

Well if the NHS is affected by one individual having 10 kids and not working then why is this not the consensus across the population?
If it made a difference surely the figures would be going up?
You never know what might happen in life. You never know when something will go terribly wrong (accident, massive economic crisis that leaves you on the sideline , an illness, etc) and you eat up your savings very quicky and the only thing supporting you is the state (welfare state) or a charity. Savings can run out quick quicky when things go very wrong.
It can truely happen to anyone, but that is not the point of this thread.
Whether lowering the capital gains tax threshold will happen or not, whether capital gains rates will be increased or not, or whether it is a good idea or not, I wonāt comment on it (at least not in this post).
Nonetheless, can we please end this and come back to it once the goverment actually announces more information on the matter?
What Iām saying is why should I pay for someone to have 10kids, itās a choice. Getting hit by a car isnāt a choice, getting cancer isnāt a choiceā¦

Because those 10 kids will likely work while your eating food through a straw in your final years
