Can the existing API be extended to work with SIPP accounts?

In the SIPP account, the Settings menu does not have an “API (Beta)” item so there is no way to generate an API key.

Assuming SIPP account shares same datamodel and infrastructure as the Invest account (surely T212 didn’t just build or buy a new incompatible platform at the back-end for their SIPP???) this should be trivial to implement. So please prioritise for development!

In the event that your assumptions are correct, my bet is that you can rest assured that your wishes will be fulfilled - and that’s from someone who doesn’t have a good opinion of T212’s system development group.
