SIPP Q and A only

It’s in beta. Let it launch fully and then it might become clearer.

It will be a new tax year soon. When the SIPP will be actually rolling out then?

  1. What is the reason Trading212 relies on Gaudi as its SIPP operator rather than running its own?
  2. Why rely on Gaudi for the SIPP when the company has been through administration?

Where have you seen that they are the providers? link, source?

As far as I can see, Gaudi don’t exist anymore. T212 are providing the Sipp themselves and were granted permission in Feb.

Is there clear, downloadable transaction statements for NET Pension contributions, prior to the tax relief, that T212 claims from HMRC (aka before the gross-up)?

I guess what i mean is, does the statement clearly state that it is a pension contribution and the Net amount and that its actually legitmately my contribution?

Time and date and some kind of reference to being a SIPP. I was looking at old deposits on here I have made, and it doesnt even tell you what account you put money into, when you look up a deposit – it just says the amount – not if its in the CFD, Invest, Cash ISA or S&S ISA. The information is super limited when you look at the data. Occasionally there is a transaction ID, but it has no reference to WHAT that tranaction is for.

It’s a white-label arrangement. Gaudi provided SIPP infrastructure for multiple business partners under private commercial agreements.

Gaudi entered administration April 2023. Platform One Ltd acquired the SIPP book and Gaudi Trustees Limited, and the operation continues under that ownership.

T212 received FCA permission to offer the SIPP product. The operator role remains separate under the white-label structure.

That’s why I asked about the arrangement.
