There should be a summary of key changes when legal documents change

It seems this has been wished many times before, and at some point Trading 212 has even stated they would do so.

With each change to the legal documentation, we send out a table of amendments which highlights the exact changes we’ve made.

But the latest email of changes sent 21st March 2025 subjected We are updating our terms didn’t have any kind of summary of changes, just a link to full document. It shouldn’t be the case that people are asking in Reddit - or here - of these things, or using some AI tool to compare old and new documents.

I strongly agree with the above.

In fact, I tried to post among similar lines some days ago, though not as eloquently as @PennyPatrick

Unfortunately, it has been stuck as pending awaiting approval by the moderators for some reason…

I concur. Indeed, I believe it’s a legal requirement to do so.

TBF, T212 began doing it a few years back so I was surprised when this one arrived with just a link to the full doc - kind’a raises one’s suspicions. Thanks for raising it, Patrick.

I’ve received an email from T212 stating they are updating the Order Execution Policy from the 21 April 2025.

While a link to the new policy is included, could T212 summarise the changes please?

It is not good practice to make changes without explaining the differences and expecting customers to identify changes themselves.

This is an exception because the document was entirely new, so we did not send a summary this time. However, we will continue to send summaries with any upcoming changes to the documents in the future.

Ah, I see. The wording of the email is a bit misleading, by saying

We are making some changes to the following document

Although I guess you are using the same email template to send all the changes.
So you haven’t had any section of Order execution policy in any other legal document? I guess I got caught for not reading the legal documents
