WisdomTree Cloud Computing ETF (WCLD) - Request

Why I record a negative result if the current price is higher than the price I bought it?

It is priced in USD which has fallen in recent weeks against the Euro and GBP.

Please search the forum next time, lots of people have asked about this.

Also, the latest T212 phone app now shows the breakdown between gains/losses in the price of the stock and those due to differences in the currency exchange.

This EFT is outperforming my S&P 500 everyday this week.

It’s great!

Is there any reason as to why or just cloud computing achieving and moving forward? Or it is lockdown still very much present and people continuously working from home?

Just curious…

@david any updates on FSKY?

Edit: it’s on the platform

@Alpha would this be much different to the wisdom tree cloud computing?

It’s consistently performing well since the day I bought it.

Just curious the difference in ETF’s?

This vid is great and exposed me to WCLD, at 28:50 min mark he touches on the differences between this and its older brother FSKY:

Basically, WCLD has more younger, hip holdings vs FSKY which has more established, mature holdings.

if anyone is interested, a new ETF called QQQJ has about 45% of tech stocks of which a lot are cloud based (datadog, crowdstrike.etc.) not sure we can even buy it in europe as there is no EQQQ like equivalent that I know of but one to look out for if we can buy it one day:

https://www.invesco.com/us/financial-products/etfs/holdings?audienceType=Investor&ticker=QQQJ

for those that hold WCLD I thought I’d point out it has just been rebalanced, some changes I could see:

in: jfrog, sumo logic, asana, snowflake, bigcommerce
out: slack.

just noticed this on the wisdomtree holdings page but can’t see a formal declaration of what has been changed, if anyone could find it that would be good.

It reshuffles the holdings quite frequently from what I have seen. snow used to top holding last I looked. Been holding it a while and still down but hoping for a comeback long term.
