Problem Statement
I am new to Trading 212 and recently started investing using this platform. The overall user interface seems good to use but I struggle to find an option using which I can see the total amount invested per stock. I only see current value against the label VALUE which is the current market value.
It would be great to have total invested amount/value displayed for each stock, if it does not exist at this point.
Value Addition:
No need for users to perform manual calculations thereby saving time while making crucial decisions on buying or selling.
Helps users assess their investments easily and with clarity, especially for selling in part.

I’m not sure I really follow why you feel you need this. These don’t feel super clear to me. I’ve never really needed to know what I originally invested when I sell, I just need to know if it’s red or green and the total value. Can you help provide more colour?
I would try to explain this with the help of following example having multiple scenarios.
Scenario A (Initial Investment)
Number of shares: 10
Stock ABC current price: $100
Current value: $1,000
Invested: $1,000
Scenario B (Investment gains)
Number of shares: 10
Stock ABC current price: $150
Current value: $1,500
Invested: $1,000
Scenario C (Realising the profit of $300)
Number of shares: 8
Stock ABC current price: $150
Current value: $1,200
Invested: $1,000
Scenario D (Fresh investment after booking/taking profit of $300, buying 2 shares @ $250 each)
Number of shares: 10
Stock ABC current price: $250
Current value: $1,700
Invested: $1,500
Having displayed the invested value helps me decide better when to book profit or average out my total investment when price drops without withdrawing the principal amount.
I use another trading app which displays this information and it is very helpful without having to perform manual calculations.
Given the above scenario, I want to just book/take the profit/gain/ROI of $250 while keeping the principal amount i.e. $1,000 still invested.
Having the invested amount visible at all times helps me reap the gains from time to time with a clear view and without the need to perform manual calculations, especially when the investments are vastly diversified
Note: Avg. price is not considered for this explanation to keep it simple
