I bought 10 shares of the company TFC. T212 shows a spread of 0,01 but it was more like 17,3. Meaning I was or still am down 33 Percent on this postion the second I got filled. The good thing is that it is a practice account, but imagine that on a real one. Was that a one time bug or does this happen frequently? And if it happens will you get your money back?
@Nikeet I’m not sure why that happened but I can guarantee that it’s impossible to reoccur on a live account. Practice mode is just a simulation, on real money, the orders are executed at the best available price, you can’t see such discrepancies, not with companies as big as this one.
