I have two pies one for growth and one for dividends. The way to invest and the key information needed for these two pies is quite different. At the moment pies are designed with growth portfolios in mind, but I don’t think they are a good fit for dividends.
Hence I would like to ask for a new category of pies, focused on dividend investing. Some items that I would like to see are:
- A calendar view with the frequency of my dividend payments.
- An indication/label next to the stock of how frequent a stock pays dividend
- In the future projection graph, I don’t want to see the total value of the portfolio but the total dividend income per month or year, assuming today’s average portfolio dividend yield. This could be enhanced in the future with forecasted dividend growth percentages, given historical data.
I am sure others will have more ideas too, but especially number 3 would be amazing.
