Alt text for images in emails

I don’t have images enabled by default in my email client, and it makes your email look like it’s broken:

It would be good if you had some alt text on the images (even if it’s just something like ‘image of the top breakouts this week’, but a textual representation of the image content would be better). This would help with deliverability, as well as accessibility (people with vision issues using screen-readers won’t see the images, and might not even know there’s an image there).

Thank you for your input. Indeed, providing additional information about the images in the email would be helpful for individuals with vision impairments who use screen readers. I’ll pass on the feedback for consideration - thanks for sharing
