Auto-invest for tax relief, similar to dividend Auto Reinvest
T212 already has Auto Reinvest for dividends — it works great and automatically buys shares whenever a dividend lands. Could the same logic be applied to SIPP tax relief? When HMRC tax relief arrives, automatically invest it into the Pie, just like dividends are reinvested
AJ Bell does provide cheaper/free re-investment - if I remember correctly on the 10th of each month - however it looks like it does this via a trader on liquid equities as the execution can take a day or so - this is probably important for example if everyone’s tax relief arrives on the 25th of the month and piles into e.g. BP Plc with immediate market orders it’s probably not great regards for market impact.
