Bid/Offer Spreads worse on Trading 212

Thanks everyone, very helpful. Clearly what is being traded is different from Tradingview charts. I’ll watch LSE & Yahoo to see actual values of completed trades. I’m still not clear why the tradingview values are so far off. 20p lower on Phoenix when i compare TV to Yahoo charts open /close, just looking at that day.

That’s the problem, there is inconsistency in the industry, sadly which then builds confusion.

Incomplete data sets
Bid/mid/offer/last traded prices

Different sources quote different ways. Even big data vendors like Bloomberg / Interactive Data / Reuters can yield different results.

I have only skimmed over the thread so haven’t checked any of the dates/details but you comment on Tradingview charts. One thing to check is that you haven’t got “adj” selected/clicked because that will adjust prices for dividends so the shares have gone ex-D since the date that you are looking at it will adjust the price by the dividend amount so it will not show the actual market price that day
