Bug When Viewing Interest on Website (not app)

When my wife views her CFD interest on the website (the app is fine), she sees 26 rows for each day from 30/11/2020 to 03/12/2020 (that’s all I’ve checked). She actually has 26 open positions, so the number of rows is correct. However, instead of seeing her 26 unique positions, she sees some positions duplicated and others missing. The discrepancies are different for each day.

I haven’t had a chance to see if my account is experiencing the same issue.

I am hoping to do some analysis on the performance of our portfolios over the weekend. Is there any way for me to access the interest information for both our accounts so that I can import it into a spreadsheet or a database?

For example:

  • Are there any export options on the website or app?
  • Is there an API or web service I can call to access my account details?
  • Could @Team212 send me a spreadsheet, CSV file or similar containing the information? I have an IT background, so I should be able to handle most formats.

It would be helpful to have access to the LONG POSITION SWAP, SHORT POSITION SWAP, relevant buy/sell price and exchange rate used to calculate the daily interest for each position. I don’t think it’s possible to view this information on the website or the app.

I can see the data in the app, but I don’t think it can exported. It would take me hours, maybe even days, to manually enter it into a spreadsheet.

I found this: GitHub - BenTimor/Trading212API: An unofficial API for Trading212

@Team212, can you acknowledge that you are aware of this bug with the way that the interest is displayed on your website?

Also, I still need the detailed interest information for both of our accounts. Since nobody from @Team212 replied to this topic, I’ve just spent almost 3 hours on a live chat with two members of your “customer care” team asking for this information. I honestly don’t think the first adviser knew anything about the CFD platform, swap rates, interest, etc. The second adviser was much more knowledgeable and helpful, but eventually concluded “we do not offer such a feature”.

Is there any chance one of the more technical people who frequent this forum could gather the information that I need please?

The website attempts to show:

  • Position number
  • Instrument
  • Quantity
  • Direction (Buy or Sell)
  • Interest
  • Date

In addition to this information, it would be extremely helpful to have:

  • LONG POSITION SWAP
  • SHORT POSITION SWAP
  • Relevant buy/sell price (I’m not sure whether, for example, it’s the buy or sell price that’s used to calculate the swap fee for long positions)
  • Exchange rate
  • The interest rate that is used to calculate the long/short position swap figures

Basically, I need all the components that will allow me to understand how every interest charge has been calculated.
