Cash ISA vs Cash in S&S ISA

I couldn’t find any prior discussion on this, so I’m opening a new thread.

I’ve noticed that the cash balance in my Trading 212 Cash ISA differs from the cash held in my Trading 212 Stocks & Shares ISA, with the latter appearing more favorable. Could you explain why? @Team212

Cash ISA - 4.10 AER

Stocks & Shares ISA - 4.35 AER

I would have thought that is because the cash is invested (by T212) in different locations.
My understanding is that interest on cash in Stocks & Shares ISAs is put in money market funds whereas cash in Cash ISAs is put into bank accounts.
Please note that money market funds are not protected and so are a bit riskier whereas bank accounts are protected.
So you decide if you want to pay for the protection.
You can easily and quickly move cash between ISAs without affecting your annual ISA allowance.
