Hi folks,

How do stock distribution events (spinoffs, demergers, etc.) work on CFDs?

I understand dividends are paid out as cash.

It’s been a while since we’ve seen you round, @investor12321 :wave:

We adjust CFD accounts based on the instrument’s price on the ex-date of the corporate event.

As far as dividends go, they’re paid on the ex-date. Here’s where you may find more info :arrow_heading_down:
