One of the very few irritations I have with the T212 interface is the length/period combinations on the charts. The defaults that apply to every chart don’t make sense to me, and they can’t be changed.
They are in two areas:
- ‘Mini’ chart e.g. the small one shown in the ‘standard’ Home view, and elsewhere:
- ‘1 year’ - shows 1 week periods - fine
- ‘3 months’ - shows 1 day periods - fine
- etc, down to:
- ‘1 day’ - shows 15 minute period. - personally here I would like to see 1 or 5 minute periods; i get that the 15 minute choice shows the previous 24 hours but when I click one day, I’m more interested in today, not yesterday evening.
Basically, I would like either my change from 15 to 5 minutes to be stored and defaulted to, or the ability to configure my own length/candle period combinations.
- Advanced charts:
When full TV charts are opened, the ‘quick’ period selectors at the bottom are:
- 5y = shows 1w periods
- 1y = shows 1w periods
- 3m = shows 1h periods
i.e. none of the options show the standard ‘1 day’ periods. Surely the 1y view would be much more logical and useful to show 1d periods instead of giant 1w candles? Or again, just allow customisation.
Thanks!
