Is it possible to use a Conditional Market Order, where a market order is only triggered once a specific condition is met (e.g. when a stock reaches a defined price level)?
If this is currently not possible, it would be great if this could be added as a feature in the future.
@Celtos Stop Loss orders (available only in the CFD account) work in a similar way. Once the stop price is reached, the order is triggered and executed at the next available market price.
This type of order isn’t currently available in the Invest account, but I’ll pass your suggestion along to the team for consideration 
I think you’ll find that the specified price level option is already implemented.
To be more specific, let’s say I want to invest exactly X € once a stock reaches a certain price Y. As far as I understand, there are two possible ways to do this:
Create a market order with a fixed value of X € and set it to be executed once the stock reaches price Y.
Create a limit order with a value of X € and set Y as the limit price.
However, neither seems to be possible:
In option 1, I cannot set a price condition for the market order.
In option 2, I can only enter a number of shares, not a value of X €.
Is there a way to do this, or could this be considered as a future feature?
When you press buy look at the top bar. There are four more pages to switch between. Switch to limit and you can enter more information.
You are right. When you switch to stop or limit, the value option disappears and you must specify a number of shares. In my experience, T212 usually has a good reason for things like this.
It could be linked to the fact that they are one of the few providers who support fractional shares. It’s possible that the broker through whom they operate for limit/stop orders does not support fractional shares.
It’s probably one of the limitations you just have to live with to take advantage of the many benefits of T212.
You can enter fractions of shares via a limit order, it is not locked to integer values. Type the number you want.
