Dividend yield information inaccurate?

I am seeing quite a high yield for carnival cruise’s but I am certain they are not paying advised this year. And the same for BP the yield on bloomberg is lower than on 212. I could be makinga mistake but I think the information is out of date and wrong. This should be fixed

Dividend yield-confused

the yield on T212 is a trailing 12-month yield. This means that it calculates the dividend yield by dividing the sum of dividends paid out over the last 12 months by the current share price. Other sites like for example yahoo finance show forward yields which calculate the dividend yield by taking the sum of the expected/declared dividends in the upcoming 12 months and dividing it by the current share price. T212 shows trailing yield, not forward. Is it misleading, kind of, they should specify it’s a trailing yield imo. Is it wrong, no.
