Hi Guys, I love this forum group. However no mater what i try i cant stop 50 emails a day coming to me from every post / comment. Ive switched most off it does not make sense/ Thanks

Could you confirm that you have turned off the email notifications from the Preferences menu on your account? If you’ve turned everything or the majority of the functions off but still receive emails, just drop me a screenshot of the messages you receive via DM. I’ll check further with our provider Discourse on why this may be happening.
Coming back to this old thread, I was wondering the same thing. Then I found out on I had probably every category turned on by default at:
Account > Preferences > Tracking > Categories > Watched
Below that selection there’s this text: “You will automatically watch all topics in these categories. You will be notified of all new posts and topics, and a count of new posts will also appear next to the topic.”
So I removed all categories from “Watched” and hopefully the barrage of emails will stop.
