Expected return/loss

It would be really nice when i’m setting the prices on a sale (a limit order and/or stop loss), if as I type the price, it would show me an expected return/loss (instead of just the change in share price)… also taking into account FX effect.

Help with share sales re CGT estimation

Hello all, Sometimes I want maximize my annual CGT allowance nearer the start of a tax year, sometimes the latter part. What would be REALLY helpful knowing how much remains of ones CGT allowance at any given point I time, would be to know what the result of a shares sale would be. In other words what would appear in the RESULT column of a actioned sale and a subsequent csv export. Bit late though! Let’s say one has £2000 left of the £3000 allowance. Well, umm, yes, now that I’ve read that thread… it’s asking for same the issue thing, but there’s so much noise in that thread about CGT.

I don’t care about CGT, as I’m using an ISA, but still, knowing the expected return on a sale is helpful for me to know where I wanna take profit (or loss!).

That thread goes on and on about the tax-free allowance when it’s not really that relevant to the request.

Even just seeing the percentage change to the current price would be already a great improvement.
