How do you evaluate a stocks value and whether it’s a cheap buy or not?

I’m relatively new to investing and have been mostly investing in mutual funds and strong well know companies. I want to get a bit more adventurous but unsure how to start evaluating companies. Wanted some advice on where you started and what you found useful ect.

Would also appreciate if you check out my portfolio and give me some feedback

Buy stocks that you believe in and use. Buy stocks that you use daily example buy in oil if you drive. Dividends etc pay you back some of what you spend plus, appreciation in value. I’ve took a few blind “punts” because I like the idea of what they are doing

P/E ratio is your main means of seeing valuation. Really depends on the company though but 20-30 is roughly fair value, just use your own initiative…if it’s dividend paying the. Payout ratio is also helpful. But it’s really about the quality of the company, sometimes you just need quality over price!
