How to buy Romanian shares from the UK

Good day (Bună ziuă),

I’m a British and Romanian dual national and have been wondering. How do you buy shares in Romanian companies, while being resident of the UK.

I know T212 is considering it at some stage in the future, but while we wait, is there anyway this can be done, even by using the services of another provider?

Also is there any regulations from the FCA or Romanian authorities that prevents this? The reason I ask is it appears the UKs ISA rules do not permit solely Romanian listed shares to be held in a UK ISA, despite it being in the EU. This also extends to Fondul Proprietatea. Are there any other regulations from the UK, Romania or the EU that put up barriers, and if so, what are they?

I know you can buy Fondul Proprietatea on 212, and possibly a few others due to its dual listing on the London Stock Exchange and either the NYSE or NASDAQ, but what about those that are solely listed on the București Bourse?

Any ideas?
