Please add Icahn Enterprises IEP.
Politely, is there a reason it’s not been added yet despite being requested by many users, for a long time?
From memory, some tax-related changes in the US means partnerships such as this are no longer offered by many UK/EU brokers.
I can’t remember the specifics off the top of my head but you should be able to find out with some research.

IEP is available on IBKR, who facilitate T212’s trades. I can’t see why it wouldn’t be available here too.
I’m aware it’s a PTP and potentially subject to a withholding tax. I can’t see why that would exclude it from an Invest account though.
Please feel free to shed some light on this if you have info that is relevant here.
I can see where you’re coming from. I know T212 was not alone in withdrawing securities like this.
If you search the forum, you’ll find a bunch of posts about it.
I’d suggest T212 is unlikely to backtrack, so you’re prob best off just buying it where you can.

We discontinued offering PTP instruments on January 1st, 2023 when the IRS’ new Internal Revenue Code Section 1446(f) became effective. We’ll let you know if something changes in the future and we’re able to offer such instruments again
