I have been searching the community to see if this feature has been enabled, but despite several requests from others I can see no advancement!
Being able to transfer shares like this would provide a massive & legal capital gains tax saving for UK based co-habiting couples.
Please advise if this is on the roadmap, or if it can be?
We do not anticipate offering such an option in the near future, but appreciate the suggestion - I’ll update the topic if things change.

My spouse and I both have T212 accounts and hold shares in ‘Invest’ as well as S&S ISAs.
Given that the threshold for CGT is so low these days, I’m at a point where I need to be able to transfer, in-specie, shares to my spouse.
Currently, the only way to do this would be for us both to open up accounts on a competitor trading platform that does support this function (e.g. AJ Bell, etc.), but I’d rather not have to do this.
Enabling this feature, surely, shouldn’t be terribly hard to do?
