Killed with a thousand clicks!

T212, whatever updates have been applied to the platform over the past couple of days, it has broken several features at once, added a thousand additional clicks to what already was a tedious workflow. Key issues I am facing since past couple of days -

  1. Logging off the working session indiscriminately - In the past, once logged into the desktop session (two factor authentication and all ) it used to remain going until I logged off the session. Not any more, If I am working on a chart for long and if I move to another chart, it seems to have been stopped updating itself. It does not show anything and a message in the centre of the scree says ‘Retry’ but does not do anything beyond.. More strangely, all the further charts that I had opened do the same. The only way to get back the charts is to log off and log back again which has became a tedious process anyways since the two factor auth was enforced.
  2. If I decide to draw a horizontal line, I can as before but I’m the past once the task was complete, I used to double click on it which then opened the settings screen for the line for me to select a saved format or change the formatting. Not any more, each further click now creates additional horizontal line and as many lines as there were clicks. there is no way to know of this until I check the object tree where now I can see hundreds of horizontal lines created,possibly overlapping. The only way I can noe open to the settings is by stselecting a -¦- and then selecting Settings from the line menu.
  3. The scale tool does not work as before. one click to select, second click to place, third click to lock the placement. A right click at this place would deselect the scale and return back to a steady state, not any more. a forth click or the right click restarts a second scale placement - absolutely frustrating. the only was to get rid of the scaling tool at this juncture is to go back and select -¦-
  4. Few opened charts seem to vanish between sessions. If there is intense activity on a chart, it seems to drop from my list of open charts thereby stopping any buy or sell activity on it until I create a new one and plan my entry or exit, but by then time has passed!

I cannot replace this, don’t have time to handhold someone on your team to show what is going on but I am certain some update have introduced this behaviour and should be for everyone, so T212 should take time in trying the above to see what is wrong.

in my opinion, in the name of updates and enhancements, T212 is making harder for its users by breaking down workflows into further steps. What should be a seamless , quick and small number of steps to get to the end, T212 is increasingly killing its users with a thousand clicks!

Came here to give you my +1 buddy. That 1st point is annoying the hell out of me and makes me feel I need a new laptop lol.

I came back here to confirm that as of yesterday, items (1) (2) and (3) above have started working normally. Thankyou to whoever corrected it, I received no response from T212 on this, so assuming that they are reading these posts though and taking action. thank you :folded_hands:

Please correct the issue (4) if not already done. I have to give it more time before confirming that it is not happening.
