Long term I’m bullish on the project. How soon for a price rise I’m not sure. They have called an EGM for authority to be able to issue more shares to buy/invest in revenue generating operations. Makes me think they have something in mind already.
That looks like it was today RNS, a proposed 50% dilution?! Thats got to piss a lot of existing holders off? I assume they’ll try and vote to block it. As a very very short term holder, I probably want to get off this before the meeting.
In order to be able to make use of the proposed shareholder authorities, the Company will additionally need to update the Existing Memorandum and Articles of Association by approving an amendment in the terms set out in the notice of the General Meeting in order to increase the number of Ordinary Shares that the Company is authorised to issue from 1,000,000,000 Ordinary Shares to 2,000,000,000 Ordinary Shares.
General Meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. (BST) on Friday 19 June 2020
I think it is just authority to be able to issue more shares so they can buy something if they want.
Yeah but I think they’ll act on it if they have that authority.
I’ve noticed a few in the forums like @Scrooge_McCodf that have mentioned they are holding AMC, but I can’t see the appeal atm.
lots of company gets these out of the way early so they can trickle a small portion in over time that way there is no sudden dump xD its how investors can get shares straight from the company rather than through the market exchanges
50% is terrifying though.
@phildawson, I can still see the graph on the T212 app, indicating the price (1.151p) as well as the daily variation. Having said that, the current value was last updated at 9:35 therefore either it has frozen on T212 or it has been suspended.
It does not seem to be a suspension as the LSE website does not mention anything.
Out of those suggested, what would be your top 3?
Well at today market Levels I would consider adding BMY/AVGO due to their high growth potential. 3rd spot is more between GD/RTX, balance sheet and stable growth…
But even ignoring fact that those stocks recovered 30%-50% in few weeks, I would deploy “buy on dips” rather than outright buy.
My limit buy price pre Covid19:
BMY - 56$
AVGO - Around 300$
However I wouldn’t actually deploy money in those companies just because someone said so.
Key point is to do your due diligence, my strategy doesn’t have to be similar to your.
I plan to have 40-50 holdings with max 5% per holding with highest conviction. Speculative buys at 1% holding etc…
Goal is compounding, dividend reinvestment until certain level is reached to self grow plus finance living…
hey, we have similar strategies although I already have more holdings than 50.
