Mostly because the underlying parent company of the ADRs are not on a HMRC recognised stock exchange.
ISA rules are long and hideously complex.
But in this instance most are caught out/ineligible because if this ‘underlying’ rule.

they did the same to me mith TAL education group. Why create more work for your customer service they know we trade the stock & if they disappear we’ll say something yet like @tradingdemo said no alert no email con communication it’s just sad to see & makes it seem as if they don’t care
