Appreciate that, thanks.

I checked for BEKE, it will be difficult to do an ETP on it… because BEKE is not listed in Europe.
It is complicated to find a Market Maker who accept to do the pricing during European hours if he cannot cover his exposure.

With the ETP’s could you tell me if the price is in correlation with after-hours price?
When the LSE opens you can trade the ETP’s such as 3X TSLA but the US Markets are closed, is it traded against the after hours price, or the closed price on the previous day?

(Sorry if this is a question that sounds dumb, or you’ve heard it hundred times before)

It is a good question Chris!
Different time zone/pricing is one of the most frequent question we have.

A price difference can come from the time difference between UK trading hours and US trading hours. ETPs stop quoting at 4.30pm UK Time (LSE Closing) and the Underlying Stock stop quoting few hours after that, at US Market closing.

So if a stock move up by 3% between LSE closing and NYSE closing… this will be reflected next day on LSE opening.

I recommand you to check on the GraniteShares website, on each ETP page. During the night… the value per ETP is calculated and published.

Explanation copy/pasted from the GraniteShares website:

Different time zones: The Value per ETP is calculated off a Closing Index Level as described here. For indices referencing assets trading during US or Asian hours, the Index Closing Level will be calculated outside of European market hours.

For instance, a European exchange, such as the London Stock Exchange, publishes the closing price per ETP around 16:30 GMT. At that time the Index Closing Level used to determine the Value per ETP might have already been calculated (Asian assets for instance) or will be calculated later on (assets trading in U.S. for instance)

I had a call with the Market Maker, it seem that something is wrong with the pricing coming from Frankfurt Stock Exchange (which is used for the pricing during EU hours). Trying to fix it ASAP!

Do you if this is likely to be fixed before the US Market opens?

When the US opens (NYSE), it shouldn’t have any more issue … because the problem comes from Frankfort.

Hi, is there any reason the 3lts and 3sts % variation/movement in either direction are not equal or similar in the magnitude? For e.g, 3lts is +12.95% but 3sts is -25.48%. Before the 3srr disaster, that used to be the case but it’s not the case anymore.

3STS had a StopLoss event yesterday after UK Market closed.
This is why the performance/price did not start at the same level this morning, which make the performance not equal between 3LTS and 3STS for the whole day.

I’ve purchased some shares of 3LNI.

Do you know if its possible for me to find out the average price in correlation to Nio’s price?

My average price for 3LNI is $3.472

Does mean my average price is $38 $39 etc…

If 3sts triggered the reset after 100% down, shouldn’t the fall in sp thereafter be lesser in % compared to what it is now (-25.48%) to reflect the reset. The -25.48 % in 3sts after the reset is a bit baffling. After the reset, one would expect the %s to be closer or either a) the 3sts to be not as low OR b) the 3lts to be higher in %.

Hi @ChrisJ
The price correlation between NIO Stock and 3LNI is not so easy to say because of the compounding impact. Taking into account that 3LNI quoted $3.472 when at the same time NIO stock quoted $38.50. I would say $38.50 BUT… The compounding impact can change it a lot over the time.
For example, it possible that over the time… NIO Stock price move between $38 and $50, to finally be back at $38.50 which does not mean that the price of 3LNI will be back at $3.472.

Check more information about it on our eduction page about compounding: Compounding Impact
